The last thing you expect to hear when you call your bank for credit-card information is a kinky sex come-on.

But customers of the Royal Bank of Scotland had their ears blistered when they dialed the number given in a bank flyer and heard a seductive female voice offer them awesome phone sex.

After the initial shock wore off, one caller sensibly assumed that he had dialed the wrong number by mistake and tried again. When the second try gave the same result, he figured something was amiss. "All I wanted was a bank. Instead I got a sultry-sounding woman offering me her dirty services. I put the phone down straight away," he said.

The bank, with typical bankish composure, assured him, as well as the media, that "We took immediate steps to stop any more leaflets going out. We apologise for any embarrassment this has caused."

But don't you wonder if the sex lady got any new clients?
