Oops: Verizon directs customer service calls to sex line
Customers who called the toll-free number listed on Verizon's small business website reached a phone sex operation instead of the giant telecom company's customer-service department, according to Consumerist.
"We called the number, naturally, and were offered another number to call," the blog reports. "So we called that number. It was a phone sex service..."
The number has been removed from Verizon's website, but Consumerist has a screen grab of the original version.
