According to a recently published study, the French report having sex about twice a week. And once they decide they want it, it only takes a few seconds, or maybe a few minutes at most, for nearly 83 percent of them to get it.

The researchers surveyed a total of 1,002 people (483 men and 519 women), aged 35 years and over, as a representative sample of the French population. They discovered that men and women both equated sex with pleasure (44 percent) and love (42 percent) more than they did with procreation, children, or motherhood (only about 8 percent).

In terms of pleasure, nearly half the men (42 percent) thought that achieving simultaneous orgasm was important. But, oddly, only 13 percent of all those polled thought foreplay, enjoyment, and vaginal penetration were paramount.

Even so, although most everybody (83 percent) said they were satisfied (more or less) with the status quo, only 39 percent said they wouldn't want to change a thing.
