Tax officials in Australia have decided that sex workers may deduct the cost of such essential equipment and supplies as adult toys, lingerie, condoms, gels, and oils.

Prostitutes, strippers, and lap dancers may also claim dance lessons as a deduction—but not fitness classes.

According to the Australian Taxation Office, the newly issued occupational list is "just another one" meant to help people.
